Shirataki noodles are made from glucomannan, a type of fiber that comes from the root of the konjac yam.
It has a springy consistency for that nice familiar “bounce” in conventional noodles.
Shirataki noodles are low in carbohydrates and has fewer calories per serving, therefore great for weight-watchers, health-conscious individuals and anyone on a ketogenic / low-carb diet.
